51st London Dinner

This years’ OSA London Dinner was held in the fine surroundings of The Savile Club in the heart of Mayfair. Pre-dinner drinks and the opportunity to catch-up with old friends were held in the Drawing Room before we ascended the magnificent sweeping staircase to dine in the Grand Ballroom.

72 members spanning over seven decades sat down to a fine meal of salmon terrine, lamb & pudding only to be frequently and volubly interrupted by our fledgling toastmaster who relished the opportunity to address the President by his full name at each and every occasion.

From L - R: Chairman Of Governors Paul Richards; Clive Shiret; Ray Moss; 2009 President Richard Cox; Lord Chilver; HeadTeacher Robin Bevan
L to R going clockwise from the front (all 1996-2003): Bengt Cousins-Jenvy; Haroon Shaikh; David Cox; Dave Polley; Alex Bell; Phil Chapman; Luke Stillwell; Matt Davies; Tom Mclaughlin

After the obligatory toasts and speeches we were again able to continue reminiscing with old friends before either heading home by coach or for the younger members continuing to savour the delights that Mayfair and late night train travel has to offer.

The list of members attending the Dinner can be found here.
